  ..........................

I am a natural light, location photographer based in Wagga Wagga, NSW Australia.

My photography has a photo journalistic or lifestyle feel, with my images telling a story about who you really are as an individual.
I aim to capture the true essence of the being within my portraits.

I often travel to towns around the region so please do not hesitate to contact me about a session if you are anywhere in the area!
I will also post on my blog if I will be heading to another town and have a little time for a session,
so be sure to keep an eye out!

Portrait sessions can be at a location of your choice, including home, your favourite park or anywhere that means something to you... Or you can leave it to me and I will find somewhere just perfect!

I am available to shoot any day that suits you!
I do prefer to keep weekends open for those who are not able to schedule sessions during the week due to work
or children's schooling etc... and of course because I like to have some time with my own little family!
My blog is where I share myself and my images with my readers.
Usually a sneak peek of your session is available as little as 24 hours after our shoot, and later a lengthy documentation.  I also post some images on my Facebook Group page, and directly on your own Facebook page if you wish.

I will always ask permission before posting your images anywhere public...
Some clients prefer not to share and this is okay!

I have missed a few weeks since my first entry that somehow managed to get second place at iHeartFaces... I had not intended to enter this week, but just wanted to stop by and share some blog love to those who have, the talent is always amazing... But I was editing this photo of Alexander and to me it screamed "Blue".
..........................

These blue eyes were the first to look deep within mine... The first I ever truly loved.

These blue eyes sadden and it rips my heart in two.

These blue eyes smile and my heart swells so... Surely it will overflow...
These blue eyes truly are the window to the soul... both his and my own.

These blue eyes search mine for answers.

These incredible blue eyes come to me in my dreams...

and in my thoughts as I wake...

These blue eyes are my reason for being, for loving, for living...
These blue eyes are my own... My fathers... and now my son's.

These blue eyes are my very heart.

I spotted an awesome little location some months back now and had been waiting for just the right little person to share it with... and, well... Dom is it!
He was a little reluctant to be my little male model at first, but I told him he could bring the Nintendo DS along and he could wear some of his new "cool" clothes that he loves so much {and Alexander's Bad Boy hat!}, and that was about all the persuasion he needed!

It's no secret that little Dom is a total DS junkie... well, he's actually a game junkie, full stop!!
It can be a little difficult at times to get Dom to put the games away and head outdoors for a little sunshine and boy play... but once he's out he totally loves every little bit of it!

Of course, telling him to bring along the DS wasn't all about bribery, there was method in my madness... because I really wanted to capture the essence of Master Dominic, and such a huge part of Dom is being a gamer... a hard core gamer for his short 8 years!!

If he looks a little nervous here, that's because he was... He thought I was a little bit nuts {and a little bit naughty} for popping him over a fence! He didn't quite trust me when I told him that the old yard has been deserted for some time and he had nothing at all to worry about!

Now this is the Dom we all know and love!!

Dom didn't take too long to relax and just check out his surroundings!

He is always so intense and deep in thought... I just know he is going to grow up to be something spectacular!!

Finally, a hint of a grin!

With those sensational eyes and olive skin Dom is going to be one little lady killer!!

Amazing the things you find just laying around in a back lane!

Dom had his own ideas of what photos are supposed to be, so we ended up with a few "poses" , but that's just who he is... always trying to be a miniature adult... so cute!!

And then there are moments where the pose works for us beautifully... This could be the future Cosmo Bachelor of the Year!!

Thanks for letting me play, Dom.

I had a blast and I so know you did too {even though you pretend to be a little too cool for school to care how they turned out!!}

I saw your little hint of a grin and I know you can't wait to show everyone!!

A couple more of our little shoot to come soon!!

Fletcher the Super~Cutie! {Wagga Wagga Children's Photographer}

I know, I know, I am a bad, bad blogger!

I have been M.I.A for a myriad of reasons, but most of all because I have been very busy with editing! I also have a few little projects in the pipeline and I am hoping to be able to launch my completed website very soon!
But, best of all, I have had family in town with whom I have tried to spend some quality time!

Here are some more photos of Fletcher the Super Cutie as promised, to give you your fill of gorgeousness until I find more time to post something more noteworthy than a long winded ramble about how blessed I feel!!!

Poor little Fletcher thought he was so big and brave that he could try to take the lead... poor little guy took tiny little tumble about 2 second after this shot... but of course Mum was there in record time with a kiss and a cuddle to make everything perfect again!!

There is a hint of old soul in Fletcher...
The way he looks at a person with a knowing, with a familiarity beyond his years...
He has certainly been here before!

I could have stayed there all day photographing Fletcher, the camera just adores him, as did the rest of us!!

I bought Fletcher this beautiful blue iced donut. I had asked his Mummy to bring some fresh fruit along for our shoot also but Fletcher had caught a glimpse of the Donut King bag and wasn't going to even hold the fruit let alone eat it!! So, donut it was... and boy did he enjoy it!!
It must be so hard being that cute!!

What a beautiful family!!!

Aaawww, aren't they just so cute?!

Look at that face!!! Oh my God he is just so damn cute!!
Check out the one eyebrow raised, how grown up is that?!

I have realised something so incredibly amazing... That whilst I feel so blessed and sooo lucky to have people allow me to take their portraits...

That they do not feel as though they are doing me a favour... Instead they feel that they are the lucky ones to have me document them and their family!

It is one thing to be able to fulfill my life with something I love and am so passionate about, but it is another to have people feel as though I am offering them a gift through that very passion.

As a Mum I really do know what it means to have an intimate moment captured forever, an image that floods your mind with the memories of that very second.

It is that, that drives me, that captures my own heart.

To be able to share such a moment with a person, or a family is incredible...

To be able to give that back to them in the form of an image is something I can not quite describe.

Whilst my clients tell me that their first glimpse of their portraits bring tears to their eyes... knowing that brings tears to mine.
I don't know how I ever got to be quite so lucky!

Today I had the absolute pleasure of spending my morning with one of the most handsome little guys in town! Poor little Fletcher had fallen asleep in the car on the way to meet me and so was a little under the weather when we reached our location... but that didn't stop him from giving us the goods!

It is so obvious from the moment you meet this little man that he is incredibly loved and adored by Mum and Dad, and that he has them both walking to the beat of his very own drum... but who wouldn't this little guy have wrapped around his little finger? He is just such a sweetheart!

Fletcher brang along a few of his favourite things for our portrait session... Get a load of his pint sized tractor!!

Look at him getting a little too cool for school with his feet up on the dashboard!

Honestly, he is just the cutest thing!!

I introduced Fletcher to an old friend of mine, "Vegemite"!

Vegemite has been hanging around our family home for years... Once the much loved rocking horse of my youngest sister, he now lives with her and has become a much loved friend of her own daughter!

Fletcher thought Vegemite was pretty cool and I got one of my first smiles of the day!

Seriously, who wouldn't fall in love with this little guy, look at him!!!

After a couple of shots {and the donut I brought along for him}, Fletcher slid off Vegemite and walked towards my car, pointing... it didn't take us long to realise he wondered what other little {or big} tricks I had stashed in there... I think it's safe to say that to Fletcher my little Festiva appeared to hold a similar magic to Mary Poppins' handbag!!
{Don't worry Fletcher, I like to pretend my Festiva is a 4WD with all the room in the world too!!}

Mum and Dad jumped in for a couple of shots too, and I am so glad... I feel so blessed to have captured such a precious time in little Fletcher's life. He has such caring and loving parents who both ooze pride in him!

Fletcher didn't want to stand... or walk... Fletcher had his own ideas on how this photo was supposed to go... Oh, to be that small again!!

Honestly, I don't know if there is anything I adore more than seeing a great big man with tattoos showing his softest side, most especially to the people he loves the most...

We managed to get Dad to calm his famous sense of humour {He is totally the cheeky, devilish class clown} for just long enough to show us how much he loves that beautiful wife of his!
They are just so amazing together... the three of them!
Mum and Dad fit together ever so perfectly, and little Fletcher is totally the icing on the cake!

Contemplation... I love it!

I don't know if it was because poor little Fletcher had been woken up and was off in his own tired little world but he just seemed so deep in thought for the most part of our session... I would love to know what was on his tiny little mind!!

Fletcher's Mum is just so smitten with him, I feel so lucky to have been there to share and document such intimate moments for this little family!
Mum is a little camera shy but she did little Fletcher proud by ensuring that she was a huge part of his session... Why she is shy I don't know, take a look at how gorgeous she is!!
Both Mum and Dad are the most down to Earth people who are a lot of fun to be around!

Look at him with his little chainsaw!! Lock up your daughters... Little Fletcher is going to be one BIG spunk!!

Fletcher brought a rake along and raked some grass for us. I am so sure he knew all about this portrait session business... He totally rocked it!

Showing us how he chops down a tree like a Pro!

I quickly come to the conclusion that Fletcher has done the whole model gig before... He would just pause and give me a beautiful shot and then go about his thing again!

He was so comfortable out wondering through the long grass... I have a feeling Master Fletcher is going to be a real man's man in the future, which I think will probably make Daddy super proud!!

How cute is Fletcher's little gun? Seriously, he hopped out of the car and found himself a little spot to sit in the grass straight away... Like I said... done this before!!

He has such a perfectly beautiful little face... BIG puppy dog eyes and smooshy lips... and that smile {though we didn't see nearly enough of it} is just heart melting!!

More of little Fletcher to come soon!!

Again Mum and Dad... Thank you so very much for allowing me to share in some beautiful and intimate moments today... I only hope that I have done justice in documenting little Fletcher and the extraordinary love the three of you share!!

I look forward to next time!

Today was undoubtedly the hottest Wagga has faced in some months... and what better weather to share a Sunday with three fabulous little cuties?!
Today I got to hang out with Angus, Caleb and little Tamara and they were just so much fun!!

We popped by the old tyre swing for a little play before heading into town for a little Urban shoot and I have to say, these guys could have been born in front of a camera... it was like working with three little professionals!

Seriously, Caleb was just so funny... and super efficient in fact!
Caleb saw today more as "Work" than as play... he jumped in front of the camera, threw me a pose or two he was certain would do the job and then jumped back out of frame again so I could concentrate on his siblings... He knows his stuff... and he totally ROCKED it!!

Angus was just so funny... I so knew he had a little 'tude in there to share with me but getting him to look anything shy of sweet and innocent was a bit of a challenge... We got there eventually and I think he pulled it off very convincingly!!

Looking right at home there, Mr. Too Cool for School!

Ahhh, Tamara... She was just a bundle of surprises... she is just so cute, right?!

Well... She is as tough and crazy as her two big brothers, even in her little pink fairy skirt!

She is just such a sweetheart!!

Look at those eyes! Isn't she just something special!! She was a little shy at first but she, like her brothers quickly warmed up to the camera!

And boy isn't she just a little poser, she has this model thing all sorted!

Master Caleb, isn't he just a spunk?!

Caleb was quiet but a whole lot of fun... He liked to think I didn't know he was totally posing for the camera, he played it cool rather well!

Love those chocolate eyes!

Here she is again... What a total darling, look at those killer puppy dog eyes!!

What a gorgeous little trio, Mum is certainly going to have some fun on her hands when these guys get a little older... with so much personality and those spunky looks, this three will certainly give her a run for her money!!

I had a great day guys, thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous Sunday with me!
